Virtual Boy Wireless Controller Haptic Add-On
Note: This haptic add-on is only for a current Virtual Boy Wireless Controller V2 orders. Please read the description below in detail. This add-on is for early adopters. If you ordered a PCB only, I will provide two haptic modules, mounts, and wire for you to install. If you ordered a full controller, I will install these into your controller prior to shipping.
The RetroOnyx Virtual Boy Wireless Controller V2 PCBs have the capability of haptics. Dual Texas Instruments (TI) DRV2625 haptic chips reside on the V2 wireless controller PCB to drive Switch rumble haptics. This allows driving of dual Switch Alps Alpine Reactor haptics. Current use is limited to Switch system menus and controller testing as rumble is not officially supported by the NSO VB application on Switch. In the future, I will release a receiver which enables wireless link cable play that will allow the haptics in this controller to behave like my VB rumble pack. Haptic mounts are custom 3D designed/printed mounts that install into the handles of an OEM VB controller body.
